Creating an account means you agree to our terms and privacy notice. Both are short, and written to be read.

I keep as little as possible — on purpose. Your email, and a postcode if you want local prices. A password only if you would rather have one than a sign-in link — and I store that scrambled, never the password itself. No bank details, no profile, nothing sold. You can see exactly what I hold and delete it all in one tap.

Creating an account is free. Connecting a meter costs from £1.50 a month while your meter is connected (£1.50 for one meter, £2.50 for gas and electricity), and you won’t be charged again after the month you disconnect it.
