How we check your bill

A quick, plain look at whether you’re paying more than you should — no jargon, nothing saved.

  1. We take the few numbers off your bill — your unit rate and standing charge.
  2. We compare them to the current Ofgem price cap for your area, so you can see if you’re being charged over the odds.
  3. We flag a direct debit that looks too high, a bill on an estimated reading, and any money you might be owed.

Tell us roughly what you use and we go deeper still. And when you connect your meter, the always-on Joulely will check your bill against every deal available where you live — scanning thousands of postcodes and tariffs, month after month, personal to you.
