Is your energy bill fair?

Free, no account, and I delete the bill after I have read it.

Send a photo of your latest bill and I’ll tell you in seconds if you’re paying over the odds, if your monthly payment is too high, or if there’s money you’re owed. Free, no account needed.

🔒I read your bill on Joulely’s own servers, show you what I found, then delete it — I never store your bill or your numbers.
📷 Snap the page with your unit rate and standing charge — usually “Your charges in detail” (often page 2), not the summary front page. Can’t find them? I’ll show you where to look.
Connect your meter and I check every bill for you

A typed-in check like this one covers a single bill. Connecting a meter costs from £1.60 a month while your meter is connected (£1.60 for one meter, £2.70 for gas and electricity), and I then do the check every month off your real meter, so you never have to remember.

How I check your bill

A quick, plain look at whether you’re paying more than you should — nothing saved, and no account needed.

  1. I take the few numbers off your bill — your unit rate and standing charge.
  2. I check them against the current Ofgem price cap, then price your usage against real fixed deals — so if there’s a genuinely cheaper one for you, I name it and show what you’d save.
  3. I flag a direct debit that looks too high, a bill on an estimated reading, and any money you might be owed.

Want to see the output before you upload anything? See a worked example → — one sample bill run three times, with one more number off the bill each time.

Tell me roughly what you use and I go deeper still. And Joulely Connected connects your smart meters and runs this check on your real usage, every month: catching a bad direct debit, a creeping rate, or a better deal the day it appears. Connect your meter →

🏠 That check covered a single bill A connected meter does this for your whole home, all on its own. Every month, off your real meter — so you never have to check by hand. Connect your meter →

This is plain guidance to help you spot overpaying — not formal financial advice. I only ever use the numbers you give me, and I compare them against the current Ofgem price cap. It’s free — I never charge you a penny.
