How do I connect my smart meter?

What is free, and what is not. The bill check, the whole-home postcode picture, the tariff comparison, the guides and an account are free, with no card. Connecting your smart meter is the paid part: it costs from £1.60 a month while it stays connected (£1.60 for one meter, £2.70 for gas and electricity), because the national smart-meter network charges us for that data one meter at a time. Disconnect and the charging stops. We take £0 commission on any switch either way.
