What you’d be testing

  • Your own model, not an average. I build a model of how your home actually uses energy, and every figure I show you comes from it. I track how accurate it is.
  • Should you change what you buy? Every supplier rate I can price, ranked against your real usage — and whether fixing beats staying variable right now.
  • Should you change when you use it? What to move, what it’s worth, and when it isn’t worth bothering.
  • Solar, a heat pump, air-con. Sliders on your own numbers — drag the panels and watch what it does, including what you’d export rather than use.
  • £0 commission on any switch, ever. I earn the same whoever you pick, so the ranking is just price order.

Straight with you about two things: you need a smart meter for the whole picture today, and the phone app is still in closed testing — the website is what’s ready now.

⚠ Worth knowing before you fill this in: there are a limited number of connected places, so I let people in a few at a time and try to pick a mix of homes — different regions, different heating, different kit — because that is how I find out where this breaks. So this is a queue, not an instant sign-up. If you’re not in the first few you’re still on the list, and I’ll tell you rather than leave you wondering.
